FAQs

Who are the Project Documents designed for?
Our project documents are primarily designed for Project Managers. There are some specific documents for Business Analysts, Change Managers and the Program Office. But most templates fall under the Project Management remit.
They also apply to:
- Project Management students - looking to learn about Project documentation and methodology;
- Project Management tutors - looking for examples of Project documentation;
- Program Offices - when establishing a benchmark or standard set of templates to use;
- Business Managers – needing to manage projects as part of their role;
- People new to project management;
- Project Managers working to tight deadlines, who do not have time to produce documentation from scratch.
What’s the value in using quality project documents?
More than 50% of projects fail to deliver on time, on budget or to the expected quality because of:
- A lack of a valid business case justifying the project
- Objectives not properly defined and agreed
- A lack of communication and stakeholder management
- Outcomes/benefits not properly defined in measurable terms
- A lack of quality control
- Poor estimation of duration and cost
- Inadequate definition and acceptance of roles (governance)
- Insufficient planning and coordination of resources
All of these issues can be avoided by the use of the right project management tools and techniques, which Project-Document.com provide.
